Hakchi allows loading of roms onto NES/SNES classics with the ability to play those games without loading new emulators on the system.
If one were to play a game on a nes classic using the system itself how will this game be categorized? I'd assume this would be along the lines of running a powerpak on original hardware.
Just curious.
As far as I know NES/SNES classics' runs are banned cause of hardware differences. Like emulation is not accurate.
We will at some time reach the point where emulation will be the only affordable way to access older game titles. Maybe not within the next 10 years still but it will come eventually. Its fine to argument that its not accurate emulation but if someone wants to compete with such a system they should be able to. Just open up a new leaderboard for emulation if the differences are too big.
