1. Your first run of the day should be done on a completely empty save file.
2. If you want to hard reset, press the drop item button.
3. For some reason the game thinks the save file is still empty and if your starting character is mario, just select the file you were playing on.
4. If your starting character is not mario go up one menu, select the starting character and the save file you were playing on.
5. If your save file does not display empty, you need to go to the 1-2 player menu (main menu) and delete it manually in the episode folder. (If you ever did a mid-level quit, save and continue or save and quit during the run your save file would not be empty)

Regarding ILs The update that fixed the jump glitch for episode broke something for ILs so right now you can do the following instead

1. Put the folder that has the .lvl file you want to run in worlds.
2. Copy and paste the lua files in the episode folder for speedrun timer into the folder that has the .lvl file
