Is the SMAS Mario 1 version allowed for these runs or does it have to be the original Mario 1?
Depends on the category sometimes. But feel free to check off the "SNES" button on the console selection when submitting a run
Probably will submit some categories to user-defined categories, where you can run only on SNES. Don't know mods will leave them or not.

11x Categories - New Timing Method
Hey Folks!
Just wanted to announce a new change to timing methods for both 11x categories. The new timing standards are as follows:
- Timing starts from power-on/reset (or game select if you're using one of the combo cartridges).
- Timing ends on grabbing the axe on the 11th run.
