On October 12th, 2023 during my 730th attempt, I tied the world record. If we count milliseconds, my run was slower than xVexoms.

5 Months later on March 30th, 2024 on my 1,395th attempt, I destroy the World Record by over a minute with a really good run.

It took over a month of me officially returning to this category to finally break the World Record and part of this is due to my slow approach since I want to maintain a good mentality during this grind. There are a few slip ups but I will only discuss some of them

Any% Portion: My movement overall wasn't the best, especially in Fury 3. I can shave off about 20 seconds throughout Any%

Roiling Roller Isle Blocks: There's a strat I tried to go for where I break the roiling blocks while doing the waterfall timer shine but Bowser's fire was in the wrong cycle. There are two Bowser cycles where his fire shoots. Left-to-right and Right-to-Left that switch after every shot. I wanted Right-to-left but got Left-to-right because Bowser barely shot his right-to-left shot before I grabbed the Pounce Bounce lucky shine. This strat saves about 10ish seconds I believe?

Red Captain Toad: This one was my fault. So I do the Captain Toad Shine while I send JR to the Plessie medal by the cloud area. I placed Plessie on Captain Toad so Captain Toads hitbox pushed Plessie into a weird spot and the Plessie medal timer ran out. This made me lose around 12 seconds

Key Glitch: A classic glitch where you can infinitely hold onto an item so we do this with the key in Pipe Path to get the key in Slipskate faster. The overall process was somewhat slow because of nerves kicking in and I recently choked a 10-second WR to a dumb move I did during key glitch. 5 seconds can be saved here which isn't a big timeloss but wanted to bring it up anyway.
