Umm, yeah. It makes it harder so It would be the fastest to use the normal route. If you're talking about the modes like zombie, rage quit and stuff.
@GerogeMac there are actually some skips that are only possible with zombies. Also, ragequit mode has no affect on the gameplay unless you die. @stargames18 The fastest known dimension is Peach Desert, followed by Cosmic for No Major Skips. The fastest for No skips would probably be Either Cybernaut or Default. And Any% can be done in any dimension (i'm pretty sure). Most people run with Peach for NMS and Default for NS.
