Another guy posted the same issue, but I never saw a resolution so I thought I'd bring it up to see if I went wrong anywhere. My trainer ID is 30422 as I read is correct with proper manipulation, I also have successfully manipulated the pidgey, the ditto, and made sure my money is at 1115. But after the glitching and then the swapping, the menu and screen turn dark blue on exiting the menu and the game crashes. I figured out where I went wrong, I picked up the antidote and never got rid of it.
- Did another run without the antidote and it worked, have done it subsequent times now too.
I edited the post: it was the antidote, at the time I was unaware of it impacting the run. Now if I could just master the capture side of ditto manip (I'm still using save states as I haven't mastered the run), I'd be on track for a solid speed run.
