Why isnt there like just a straight any% run using save corruption?

Because any% = pointless layout full of optimal times.

I honestly still think it should be a category, for yellow at least. It doesn't really work for red blue because the game freezes on the pokedex rating screen, but I think it'd make a really interesting category to see just how low we can get the time.

We already know how low we can go, 0:00 IGT is free on Yellow (so even with RTA it would soon go down to the frames)

Yes, but the RTA time can still go lower and lower, time it using RTA not IGT
