Are the 3ds downloads for pokemon gold/silver acceptable as runs? I've looked through the rules and don't see anything definitive (may have overlooked it, if it is there)

Yes, they are acceptable, at least for Glitchless. But 3DSVC isn't a possible platform yet, probably because noone asked for it yet. (Hi mods could you please add it, thanks Kappa )

What about for glitched? I've been able to get the wooper route finished pretty consistently on it, not good enough for the bad clone route to test

As stated previously, the 3DS Virtual Console are acceptable platforms to run either Glitchless or Manipless on. Any% could possibly work on them but there are no current runs in that category using VC. Their is now a seperate Variable to select when using it so we encourage you to submit any runs to the proper category and variable.
