I would like to clarify the end time condition for this category. Does the time end when the protagonist physically picks up the flashlight (the click sound), or when the cut scene begins of him picking up the flashlight? The difference between the timing methods is around a second or two. It seems that the current world record does the later, while pacult's old WR does the former?
Perhaps the description could be more clear? "Timer...ends when you pick up the flashlight"
Yeah I said "time" at the wrong spot which would have made the run clock in at a few frames before 1m33s but when I actually timed it later with a stopwatch as I was editing, I got the appropriate extra time that made it 1m34s which is what I submitted.
After reviewing bye's most recent WR in the category, I noticed he did not delete his save before starting a new run. I did some investigation into the game and whether this would be a valid run, and I realize that the rules for PT can be updated to make attempts better.
