So, being super super new to speed running, is it possible to make a speed run of Minecraft that is not one of the speed run types already given? Was thinking about doing a speed run for making a 8x8 house, with 2 windows, 1 double chest, 1 bed (any color) 1 door, 1 furnace, at least 4 torches, all in the house's area. The house would have to be at least 3 blocks tall, and made of only wood planks/logs

you can speedrun it but it wont be an actual category or world record. The run you have described just seems like a category you made up on the spot to get a free world record, but if you find it fun, you can do it. It won't become official though

I'm not trying to really ever get a "world record". I don't really have any wishes on doing so. Was just wondering though. But ok.
