Hi I was wondering about a few questions I had for longer runs to be verified and posted here. My main questions are:

1. Is breaking the run into multiple videos allowed?
2. Are breaks/ doing the run over many days allowed?
3. Is being afk allowed?
4. Is a split timer on screen required for 20+ hour runs or will the time of the video/videos suffice?

Thank you to anyone who can answer any of these! I really appreciate it and want to make sure I'm following the rules.

It depends on the run. I believe saving and quitting is allowed for an AA run. However I don’t think you can do any of these for say, and RSG run. Pausing is allowed, but the recording must continue - and it’s also sus, to say the least.

Timers are recommended but not necessary in any run, the mods will retime some runs manually if they’re high up in their category.

What do AA and RSG mean?

AA = all advancements RSG = random seed glitchless

Yes jamyreaf, I am. Going for at least 20+ hours so that's why I was wondering about those things I mentioned at the top.

@RealPalmon the best bet is you stream, and when you break, you just pause the game, and if you want to play again, you can just continue

Tbh just buy a new cheap computer and leave it running with mc open doing the same RSG run with you standing in a hole for like a week or something unbeatable

That’s such an arbitrary distinction, though. What if I sat in a hole mining a cobblestone generator with my left click taped down?

Well then you could just sit down and do a full let’splay. Pretty sure that counts as a “speedrun” - just a very safe one where you get incredibly stacked first and set up multiple bases across the world.

And it’s not as if let’splays have no downtime. You could always sit high up in the sky using your auto mob farm as an excuse to afk during the run.
