No, you can only use optimizations mods. For example: Sodium, Lithium and Phospor.

All other mods are banned.

and if you wanna torture yourself more, try rsg 1.15, you have to kill endermen with no easy nether biome spawning

Also, I speedrun 1.16.4 bc there are fewer times there (that means I can say I got a higher place even when I have an overall bad run) and it is basically the same thing as 1.16.2
