Recently i have came across this great mod: https://github.com/RedLime/SpeedRunIGT/releases Its great, it updates your IGT in real time which gives you better idea of your pace and its heavily customisable. Personally i cant use regular timer, bc Windows 10 built in recorder cant record multiple windows at once, and even if it could, LiveSplit makes my game laggy. Also, any other program like OBS Also creates a lot of lag. Thats why, in my opinion, this mod should be allowed in speedrunning.

yes, i use windows recorded and it doesnt record livesplit but you can just say that the timer showed that. plus, just use the statistics timer

The rule are clear that its permitted: "A few non-Caffeine mods are also allowed For 1.14+: SpeedRunIGT, noPeaceful, and extra-options."

So yes you can use it for version 1.14+

What I have understand, timing mods however doesn't inflict the timing of the game, ergo moderators will still go by the "official" timer even if you use a timer mod. Timer mod is just for your own pleasure.
