Level 06, Under Rink, New Out of Bounds Skip

It's a small skip, but I thought it was interesting and it is indeed RTA viable as this video was done RTA. It skips having to fight a couple waves of enemies and then having to flip the switch to turn off the gas to gain access to the next room. It does save time if you line it up quickly and you could probably dive along the ceiling instead of walking along it for extra speed. For reference, my world record 29:07 run takes 58 seconds to complete these two rooms, while the video below with the skip does it in 48 seconds, so it saves at least 10 seconds.

Level 07, Rooftops, New Out of Bounds Skip

Found a small skip in Rooftops that skips one room with a few waves of enemies and a cutscene. This skip can be chained into the "Checkpoint Reached" glitch that MattMatt found in the same level.

Level 08, Villa, New Out of Bounds Skip

Found a big skip in villa that allows you to skip pretty much the whole level except for the initial 2 waves of enemies in the courtyard.

Level 09, Old Church, New Out of Bounds Skip

From the start kill the two enemies in the room and then use the box to get out of bounds on top of the door. Then turn around and ride the out of bounds wall around to where you can jump over the fence. The wall will try to shoot you forward and into the void so watch out for that. This strat saves 45 seconds over the current world record of 29:07.

Here's a video of the out of bounds movement I found the day before finding the above variation. This route doesn't really save time as it's presented here but there could be some things in there worth investigating further.

Level 11, Dockyard, New Out of Bounds Skip

A method has been known about for a while to skip the boss fight in the Dockyard level, however it was pretty complex and only saved about 30 seconds. Well this new strat is dead simple to pull off, with no risk of dying by falling into the void like with the old OoB strat. In addition, this strat saves an additional ~30 seconds which means we are now saving over a minute over the intended route!

I've officially done the skip RTA. Took about 40 minutes of just grinding the level to get one successful completion, but even with a really sloppy ending, it saves about a full minute compared to the Villa completion time in the world record. 1:37 vs. 2:32.

So it seems like this could be a yolo strat to go for if a run is too far behind to world record, and I could see this being required for world record one day.

I've been working for a while on finding a skip in the final level, Mansion, and I was finally able to do it. This video uses save states but this could definitely be done RTA with a little practice and working on setups. It's a really big development though as this will likely save over a minute at least. Ignore Simply's stream in the background lol. I'll make a better video when I've practiced it some more.
