When I submit runs does it has to be a doom demo? If so, I can't find any way to record one with cripsy doom because the only thing I could find was a video from 6 years ago that no longer works...
Hi. To answer your question - you only HAVE to submit demos if you happen to get 1st place / tie 1st place, in other cases it is RECOMMENDED, but not mandatory. At least to speedruncom leaderboards that is.
You might also want to join discord, it has #help channel, which also has a page about prboom, which has info about demo recording, in crispy that will be pretty much the same thing, except for different exe file. (in case you have troubles joining discord - https://dsdarchive.com/guides/prboom_plus)
Glad there's a thread on this. What happens in regards to Ep 1-3 and Ep 1-4 categories? Do you need to have a demo for each episode, or just a video?
