All of the four episodes seems to go to the same places. The only thing different is the starting point. Am I missing something here?

Im not sure what you mean by 'episodes'. The game has four maps and they each are different and done in a row.

You may be confusing this game with the predating HL2 mod of the same name, which I havent played.
