Hey guys. Though I'm sure this has been brought up before, I was wondering if pausing actually applies to normal difficulty speedruns. Normally it's not a big deal for me to alt tab but, with Xsplit running and 3 other windows open...it runs the risk of crashing my game.

I only bring this up, because a few friends of mine joined me on Discord to shoot the shit. Game volume was too loud, and as I just said alt tabbing was not an option. So I paused, lowered the volume, and went on.

I realize that difficulty can be changed there...but does anyone actually run on anything but normal in the NG 1-5 category? I'm not asking for a new category or anything like that, but should a pause happen on normal, does that actually DQ a run?

Also, shoutout to the mods for doing a great job getting things verified and questions answered. You're all appreciated.
