In the rules for the game it lists the requirements as game timer on in addition to classic/hardcore if relevant. However it does not list whether or not it is required to use other default settings (for example, turning traps off would affect world gen and playstyle somewhat) My question is just if other settings have to be defaulted

I should add that to the rules. No other settings need to be turned on, however most runners seem to be turning them on.

This has been changed, and now each category has rules that shows what should be turned on or off.
