maybe this is a dumb question but why isn't there a separate category for emulator runs? i totally understand why they're currently not allowed with the difference in load times, but i don't have a TV or a gamecube/wii or much money and i really wanna start running this lol

i really want to start speedrunning this game but i also don't want to delete my current save file to do so. is there any way to store the save file on my computer and restore it at a later date?
