If vsync by rule caps your fps to your monitor's refresh rate then I don't think it could be that, I have a 144hz monitor. Plus, sometimes it spikes up and surpasses 90fps

Makes sense. Specs are:

Intel i7 10700F 2.90GHz

Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 4GB

16GB RAM (DDR4 I think, not 100% sure)

Also nope, it's not a laptop

I don't think it's a bad PC overall, that's why it kinda caught my attention. But as you stated, the windowed mode could screw some things up

Hello there. I've been speedrunning the game for a month or so and I'm experiencing a little problem. The thing is that I only have one monitor, so I use dxwnd to window the game and be able to see both the timer and gta itself, but for some reason, if I launch the game through the program, I get an average of 70-75 fps when unlimited (I use Rivatuner to limit fps). This kinda screws up some mechanics, like fast tag spray. If I launch the game without dxwnd (that is, direct double click on game launcher), I get well over 110 fps without frame limiter (and unlimited through Rivatuner), so this shows it's not a PC thing, there has to be something on dxwnd I could touch to get those sweet extra fps I need.

Thanks in advance <3
