It's pretty straightforward. :P
- Go to the game you moderate.
- On the left panel (or above the leaderboard if you're on a small screen) and click "Edit game".
- Scroll down to "Full-game categories" or "Individual level categories", whichever you need.
- Scroll to the bottom of that box and press "New category".
- Enter the category name.
- Now a section should be set aside for your category. You can change the name of the category by clicking on it, change the rules by clicking on "No rules", and change other settings. There are question marks next to each setting that explains what it does. Every change you make should change automatically.
@Kobe: I've already mentioned that one before, the replying admin (can't remember who) was against it.
If you follow the game, by default you should get a notification if a new thread has been posted.
WeaponLord: While it isn't really relevant to the thread, global notification settings can be changed here: http://www.speedrun.com/settings
They are separate subcategories, I don't know why they're appearing like that, though.
Depends on if I think I'm good enough at the game to get a world record.
And yes, usually the world records are kept up to date on this site. If in doubt (i.e. it's an unpopular game with not-so-active mods) you can do some googling and see if you find any runs that are better.

Come on, man, it's the 3rd thread from the top.
Contact him, tell him what you think he's doing wrong and go from there.
Also, I'm not sure what you have against sake.
I'd message Jumpyluff over Twitch/Twitter/whatever else. I haven't seen a site mod approve a run in a game they don't have game mod privileges, even though they have the power to.
For the social media section of your profile or for run proof? You can still put Dailymotion videos in run proof, the link will be there but it won't be embedded into the site (unless that has been added).
Dalet: That seems to be a problem on your end, not a problem with the website.
It was a formula by ROMaster adapted by Lighnator: http://www.speedrun.com/The_Site/thread/jbrsy/1#cdtev
Quick note: There is literally no point on responding to requests that don't really concern you in any way. The admins probably won't take your opinion into account.
I've never actually fully finished a run in one sitting, but Saints Row 3.
