In short, I'd say single segment Final Doom: The Plutonia Experiment on Nightmare: https://www.speedrun.com/finaldoom#The_Plutonia_Experiment
In long, difficult how? IMHO:
Difficult in that you have to get super lucky: Mario Party series, Pokemon series
Difficult because you have to make up your run on the fly based on randomness: Diablo II, Blinding of Isaac
Difficult because your timing has to be perfect: Super Meatboy, Guitar Hero / Step Mania series (sped up)
Difficult because you have to execute multiple frame-perfect tricks: Mario Kart 64, Super Mario Bros series
Difficult because it involves a lot of difficult tasks that must be done perfectly in a row: Mirror's Edge, Half-Life, Tony Hawk's Underground 2 on Sick Difficulty, Portal
Difficult because they've been optimized to death and you have to be perfect to even compete with the best score: Legend of Zelda OOT, Super Mario 64, Super Metroid, You Have to Burn the Rope, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night
Difficult because they are really, really long: Baten Kaitos, Animal Crossing 100%, GTA series 100%, some of the Final Fantasy stuff too
At first I thought this was a joke, but that actually makes sense. Wouldn't the first games to be raced be racing games? Something like ExciteBike or Dragster?
Don't be so quick to judge. You can't post without an account, yeah? How else are you supposed to ask something here? There's not exactly an FAQ yet, and things that may seem obvious to you aren't necessarily obvious to everyone.
The same thing happened to me when I first joined. I just wanted to know what was considered tool assisted and what wasn't, and it got a bit out of hand: https://www.speedrun.com/Speedrunning/thread/n1u5f
Indeed! What sorcery is this?
Any genre? Well then you'll love this dinosaur-themed-dating-simulator: https://jayisgames.com/games/jurassic-heart/
But they haven't ported it to GBA yet...
I don't think the comments are visible for anyone except those who can edit it; they're not popping up for me, anyway. Can you put the formulas in cells out to the side? I'd like to see the variations you use on the original RankWeights (and maybe see if I can find a way to modify it to catch people who try to "game the system". ( I won't mention any names because I wouldn't want to embarrass RacingMonster ) )
He punched that rock so hard that it knocked out the USB drive! You just made my morning :-)
As in, the only reason your run is rejected is because you don't have a discord account or account to some other application / program?
If you're on a budget, it might be worth looking into abandoned and freeware games. I'm sure there are plenty of undiscovered gems out there:

I think you have a point there; It should probably be stressed more that you cannot simply jump into that kind of thing without training your body and mind for the task.
Good advice everyone! Yeah, it's rough when the chat box is empty; kind of embarrassing in a way. Discord is a good place to go. Look for the right channel and drop a line something like "I'm about to do a stream everyone, feel free to pop in and check in on me, I'd appreciate it" or something. They can't really show up if they don't know you're streaming, and eventually you'll start to find others who are just as interested in the game as you are. Alternatively, find other people streaming the games, and join the chat on their games as well. We might butt heads on this site sometimes, but we're all on the same team here. If you start making contributions to their streams, I think you'll find that they will be happy to do the same for you.
Have you played Super Mario Sunshine? If that's your opinion of SM64, you've got to try it
No, he's right. That went a bit off the rails. Sorry about that- I tend to forget where to draw the line. Thanks for stepping in before I took it another three pages, ha!
Correlation doesn't equal causation.
Most Native American communities were socialist. The fact that Russia implemented it poorly doesn't necessarily mean socialism is bad in its own right. Don't confuse socialism with communism.
