Who hasn't played this Red Remover in their elementary school computer class? I used to play this game (amongst others like Red Beard and Red Ball) and Mr. Chavez would get absolutely FURIOUS with me and would sometimes send me outside the computer lab where I wasn't back in the rest of the period. A lot of the times I really let his yelling get to me personally, but that's just how 8 year olds function.
Haha, but that's besides the point. In all seriousness, Red Remover ( speedrun.com/r ) is an outrageous speedrun using crazy strats like clicking on the squares as fast as possible, navigating through the tedious menu without your mouse freezing up ( I should really consider getting a new mouse since mine has been acting up like hell, but what can you do when your nearest electronics store is a 45 minute drive without traffic), as well as making sure you time your runs properly.
It's a great speedgame for beginners because there is no RNG, and it's a very quick speedrun (6 minutes if you're good like me; but can be about 6 mins and 54 sec if you're not that good with your hands or using your brain for optimal hand-eye coordination), and it brings back lots of nostalgia like Mr> Chavez kicking me out of the computer lab.
Overall, I would recommend Red Remover (and Red Beard) to anyone,
I don't know, either the mods got rid of his run or he edited it like you did for a better time.
I am very confused, why are runs being approved with no video evidence?
If I knew I could just submit fake times with absolutely NO proof of the gameplay, I'd be doing that left and right just like jako6601. Every time I see a run submitted by jako6601 I'm not going to believe it's valid since it's most likely fabricated splits with a fake time. I have no respect for cheaters like jako6601.
I am mortified by the moderation of this community and what it's become. Frankly, I feel absolutely sick to my stomach.

Are we allowed to skip the menu in between deaths using an auto clicker? Nothing's listed in the rules and it was accepted as a WR so I'm assuming it's allowed -- but wanted to make sure.
Something funky happened with the menu. New speed strat? Should the Any% category be renamed?

For some reason the game doesn't think you can shoot things that quickly after another. You're going too fast for a speedrun :)
Can someone please respond to this? Where can we find the "pc standalone" version?
In case anyone is confused, a new category has been added to the leaderboards.
The main category is the same but was renamed from "100%" to "6 exit" as that makes more sense to the goal. The new category "6 exit OoB" features level skips like these:
Runs that use these skips belong in the "6 exit OoB" category since they go over the map and skip a great portion of the levels.
I agree with you, but then what defines a "glitch?" There should either be that or a no OoB category because you can do levels 2 and 4 a lot quicker just skipping half the level. Skips like this don't belong in the same category, whether it's "100%" or not
This run was accepted onto the 100% leaderboards when it features the level 4 skip at 2:05. Why is this? This isn't any% or syobon action where you can just pass levels by skipping half the stage.
This is going to be a real crappy speedgame if GohgoDude allows level skips like this as it takes all the challenge out from the category.
