There aren't really any rules to where you can upload your video that I know of. Ideally to a decent site of course. You know, one without adult content obviously. Other than that I don't think there is any kind of rule. Have fun best of luck!

I tend to use my friend's speedruns 16bitkiller. the voices of my friends relax me, as well as my fiance's voice. I've literally had her make videos of her just talking or singing for me to fall asleep to. Works wonderfully. Super Mario 64 as well. I enjoy the happy go lucky sound effects and what not.
You should get in contact with the mods themselves about this There is usually a reason why things like this are done. If not you could just suggest it and make it a thing

Many of us would be more than happy to help you with your issue. Planning to speedrun is pretty easy. You select a game and start learning the route. Learn about the glitches and strats by chatting with the community and watching tutorials and reading guides provided by users on speedrun.com. We are more than happy to help you in any way you can think of. Just make sure you are having fun because that's really what this site boils down to! ^_^
In case you don't know much about recording and such, I'll suggest using OBS and LiveSplit. OBS Is a program used to record what you do. LiveSplit is used in just about every run you see. It lets you experiment to see what the fastest way to do things is. It's also an accurate way of seeing what time you precisely got. These programs can be found at these links!
^ You'll be running the games for long periods of time, so it's also important to make sure you love the game at least somewhat.
Getting into speedrunning is much harder than you'd think. It's best to start out with simple games or categories. The point and click genre does this nicely. It's mainly just mouse movement with slight precision. Mario Kart 64 No Skips is a wonderful start as well. I've found this category helped me easily get used to speedrunning.
Start by playing through the game casually two or three times. This will help you know where everything is and just get used to the game in general. From there, do a no reset run just to get a time. This will help you test out what works or makes you faster. You can visually see what you should and shouldn't do using subsplits. Finally, it's time to learn a decent route, learn the glitches and strats, and optimize yourself.

We get this all the time! XD It's a little complicated to explain. Examine this room. On the machine is C=2 It can also be C=3 sometimes.
Then at the bottom of this note is a number.
Both these things are randomly generated. Take the number from the note. Then take the number from the machine. If the number is 2, multiple the note number by 4. if it's 3, multiple by 9.
For example, in my run. The number on my note was 810. The number on the machine was 2. So here's what I did. (2x2)x810=3240
If the number on the machine was 3, I'd do this. (3x3)x810=7290
Well, we don't really need any more mods. Though ideas are always certainly welcome. We will discuss this and get back to you on the issue soon! :) This will more than likely become a thing though. Who knows though, if you really offer a lot to the community we might end up modding you anyways. Or at the very least make you verifiers.
