Hi everyone !

1. Emu config : I'd like to start speedrunning on Project64 and installed versions 1.6 and 2.3. Could anyone help me with the recommended / required settings ? I use a Logitech F310 controller but I don't feel very satisfied... any advice on another reasonably priced model to play MK64 ?

2. Speedrun.com video link update : A few hours ago I submitted my new PB in All Cups (No Skips) Wii U VC (https://www.speedrun.com/mk64/run/yd543wwm), but I screwed up OBS audio config when recording and there's no sound in the video. I'll redo a record and reupload a proper video asap of course. Is there a trivial way to update the video link in an already submitted and accepted run ? Or maybe you, YouTube experts, do you know if it's possible to change a video while keeping the link (looks weird to me btw) ?

3. Another timings question : Surely everyone noticed the new "Extra" categories and I submitted my first-try runs in each of these two new categories. However I play on a PAL N64 and on the leaderboard the NTSC and PAL timings are displayed altogether, which looks a bit weird to me because the difference among those plateforms is significant enough. Am I missing something ? Did I do something wrong ? But if this is the norm and everyone is happy about it, I have no problem to stfu. Please note that I'm no hardcore gamer and I don't spend much time on the various existing websites (speedrun.com, mariokark64.com, discord) to catch everything that goes on... so forgive me if my questions are silly and thanks for helping me !

Speedrunning All Cups (No Skips) on a EURO / PAL Wii U VC, I also read on reddit.com or mariokart64.com that there are differences between PAL and NTSC timings. I was wondering if I'm affected by this question of PAL / NTSC timings conversion ?

And in the leaderboard there's a US flag next to the platform (WiiUVC) indicating "USA / NTSC"... Could someone help a n00b :-) please ?

Thanks ! I'll also try to order a capture card (Elgato, Avermedia or Razer) as soon as they're again available, but in the meantime I'll record the monitor. Also please note that we're non-English speaking and non-gaming newbies... maybe (probably) we'll make mistakes or even ask questions that seem obvious to everyone :-) !

Hi ! Since we're all stuck at home (you know...), I got for my girlfriend her favourite game Mario Kart 64 on my old Wii U. She's been playing every day for the past two weeks and last Friday she started speedrunning the game. I installed LiveSplit on her computer and according to the "100% no skips" rules, she just finished the game under 45 minutes. We don't have any streaming gear but only a camcorder. For the next times, if I want to submit the runs, is it ok if I record the monitor ? Setup : Euro Wii U + original GamePad + ASUS 27" LCD monitor. Cheers !
