Quick question. The video used in the pic below is in 30 FPS. Why is it that segment doesn't end in 0.X33, 0.X66, or 0.X00 like how SPRT or other retiming tools do?
Usually you can keep it empty. If the game is pretty straightforward, you can get away with not including any details. If the game is confusing to an outside viewer on what the category's end goal is, you could explain that in the notes. All in all, it's optional. You can be as descriptive as you want (or don't want).
No. Also remove the score leaderboard from Steaming Around Sodor, please.
As a moderator of a game that has upwards to 42 segments just for Any%... holy shit. This will definitely save SO MUCH TIME for me retiming runs. Thank you so much! I look forward to using this! :)
An NSFW game got accepted on the site literally 20 days ago.
Probably one of the best WRs we've had in this game. Nailing the mini-wave skip in Infusion is absolute hype.
But site rules say that a mod can be considered inactive if they didn't verify a run in 21 days.
I did reply back in that scenario. Would they still be able to remove me after 21 days?
On the subject, are you supposed to wait 21 days before contacting the mod?
Because I had someone very recently come to me about a run that was in queue for about 14 days and told me that they’d submit a support hub request if I didn’t verify the run after the 21 day limit.
Is that allowed? My understanding is that you’re supposed to contact the mod after 21 days and resolve the issue (at least according to site guidelines).
Worse speedgames have been added to the site. Hell, I could name a few on this site that are arguably worse than speedrunning visual novels (eg. The Smurfs Dance Party, where the main category requires 0 input and is entirely dependent on load times). Furthermore, what people think is a good or bad speedgame is subjective.
Getting Over It With Bennett Foddy also has a maximum time of 1 hour.
Edit: Skylanders: SWAP Force Time Attack runs now ban runs that go over 145:38:08.00 of in-game time. Upon reaching this value, the game overflows and resets the timer to 0, which, in my opinion, is interesting, but unfortunately requires leaving your console on for 6 days straight.
Thanks for taking over this for me, Meta. Got caught up in some things.
Not a very good year for me. So much bad shit has happened to me & it hasn't really been getting any better. At least I can still add games to the site, which just helps me cope a little.
Anyway, thanks to everyone who has ever supported me.
