@Otbgamer11 if the issue with video upload is due to country or age restrictions, check out peertube. The instance I use has a min age of 3 years old (not 13, actually 3) so this shouldn't impact your ability to upload content if you have a region restriction. Also, I haven't seen an instance yet that's blocked anywhere, like YouTube is.
If we had a user follow system, I wouldn't need to follow 200 games. I am completely for not having any form of public stat for follower/following count, but this feature would make it significantly easier to track competitions between small groups of users, instead of following the games that they run to get this info.
Using a run link that isn't in the list of embed link sites often runs off the page.
That being said, it would be great to have additional platforms have embeds on this site. This is just an overall suggestion, but would be nice to have a wider variety of embeds, that way going to a third party site for viewing isn't required.
Category extensions are now tracked on haloruns.com . This category idea is also quite trivial, so most likely won't be added, but I suggest asking in the haloruns discord, as opposed to this forum.
@M_CBL_ streaming can be fairly lightweight on a PC. I currently run my games in a windows 10 virtual machine with gpu-passthrough, and an allocated 8gb of ram with 4 cpu cores. I've had no difficulties with any games, and I've ran some hardware intensive games on there (partially unfair because I have a decent laptop graphics card). I would suggest taking a look at the steam / winstore/game page and see what the minimum specs are to run whatever games you plan on running. Like @Bob-chicken said, 8gb ram is good for most games, as for other specs, I'm not an expert at recommending hardware, but referring to min specs charts for games like mentioned before, this should steer you in the right direction.
Trying to have two animated badges, uploaded a gif, won't animate once saved. I've tried lowering resolution, do gifs not work, or is there a certain way that gifs need to be uploaded to work?
Please don't delete the category. Some of the min moves for the levels were very difficult challenges to overcome, and some of them even took 30 mins to learn and pull off. I don't see how time must be a factor for these runs, and adding a time factor would just make this into a second any% category.
