- For 100% ng+ are we allowed to do a 100% run on ng+ with nothing completed ie none of the requirements for 100% completed so viewpoints investigation screen etc or does it have to be ng?
not much of a developer tbf ik very basic stuff of python and that's being generous not to mention idk anything about JavaScript. Also working on a different program right now that could still be helpful for speed runners thats a route tracker for 100% speed-runs/any speed run really that requires collecting stuff. Still working on a way for people to be able to add stuff they need. Like proper documentation/instructions on how to add their game they want to add. But if you want to help with that or with making a splits.io clone then be my guess.

I get it for the kill everyone run but this one it’s any% and doesn’t really make a difference in the run but whatever. I also forgot to close it and wasn’t really using it

I want to speedrun this game on pc is their anymore legit options for buying the game on pc? If not its not end of the world i have it on xbox so i can always play it on there but i would preferably like to play it on pc
I mean it is an alternative. But the only issue is they still have to pay a bill monthly to keep the site running not to mention people who have to run it and develop the website also costs money. My point being how long until they have to shutdown as well and then we are in the same problem as before. With nothing for it. I mean I don’t think my idea is much better anyways but it’s whatever. Hopefully it gets added eventually.
Listen unless people from other platforms actually run it for now it’s not a problem. I do think we need shorter categories for this game. I would gladly do a run just involving the prologue of the game plus act 1 as that’s a reasonable length. But we need 3 people to do a run and make multiple attempts so until said thing happens platforms isn’t a big deal
For any of those non full game category to be added 3 active runners need to run any suggested category more than once then submitted to the forums. This game is super king and very little interest to begin with I would love those but getting 3 people to run for example act 1 is kinda hard
So basically what the title says i was thinking what if someone was able to make a program that could do everything that basically splits.io did but on a user base level but generates a file you then upload to src that would then basically show everything how the splits.io link did. I dont know if anyone is interested in making it or helping me make it although i dont have much coding knowledge but i can try. Anyways thoughts and comments are always welcome even if you want to say "Its a stupid idea" or "Its dumb" etc etc. I will say only reason i think making a program for this is a good idea is because that way no one has to foot a bill to maintain a website. Yes people will have to foot the bill for time and effort it takes to make the program but as long as the program maintains support it wont have any issues that a website would have.
I mean isn't technically necessary you can submit it just fine with no platform for it. Its a long run anyways so i doubt anyone will attempt a run on console anyways.
Also if they aren’t allowed can the rules be updated so it’s more than just when it starts and ends
Question are the in game abstergo/animus cheats allowed to be used in any% or is that only exclusively for 100%. The rules don’t say u can’t use the abstergo/animus cheats so that’s why I’m asking.
Ig that’s true but if we make a new post then he maybe will or maybe cyn will. The rules anyways for any new category for any game is at min 3 runners. Also it’s more pay to win for pc sense u get it for free with the deluxe edition so…yea very fun. I’ll try and do some runs again. I guess I’ll have to do multiple in one stream so I also meet the multiple runs part.
Well @Rhyfhm and @wubcool if you guys are cool with it he may add the category if we each do a run and submit it to a new post if you guys are down ill do a run. Keep in mind he will probably want us to run it at least a few times. Also all the rules are the same but you cant have the resource pack which gives you 500 of each material at the start otherwise all rules are the same. If u guys are down then ig like this post
Made a autosplitter and made it so if people want to they can have the In game Time display on livesplit so its easier to fill out the In Game Time slot. Note only works on pc. I made it for the steam version but may work on Ubisoft connect not Ubisoft plus. I will integrate it into livesplit so all you have to do is activate it in edit splits then go to settings and click on texts and IGT. The autosplitter splits on the end screen showing but may split if you pause so be warry. Final split will still have to be manual and their is no load remover so you still have to use RTA for your timer. Anyways figured i let people know
In the rules for DNA% it says to reset your achievements with the options file in Resources but its not there anymore so how do you reset your achievements/can you reupload it? Please and thank you :)
Ngl idk how u spammed the jump on ledge thing but whatever as long as your aren’t using any cheats. Also u don’t need livesplit when doing level runs
