I agree that they should be allowed, for the same reasons. It's been a while tho, so my knowledge is kinda fuzzy
I believe we already effectively have subcategories for each character as is, simply by selecting the character in the filter
Here is the lb for 1-1 with 8-bit meat boy, for example
Not familiar with how browser caches and whatnot work, but I recall being able to do ctrl+F5 to get assets to update immediately. Maybe things have changed though
+1
I also reported that IL WR sorting bug a couple years back and it's still here haha
@Kai. There are many situations where even with both RTA and IGT filled in for all runs, the overview page still sorts incorrectly
Mentioned this on the Discord, but I'll put it here too
On the IL page there are many cases where the incorrect run is shown as WR (seems to involve RTA vs IGT)
Here is one example https://www.speedrun.com/croc_2/individual_levels edit: I will note - There are many situations where even with both RTA and IGT filled in for all runs, the overview page still sorts incorrectly
Also (not sure if this is new, but I think it is) the "Show misc. categories" toggle on profile pages is an excellent addition!
"Do people also want the background positioning / scrolling / foreground options back?"
Most important are the positioning options, since without them it's hard to get backgrounds to look good at various resolutions / devices.
I can live without the scrolling / foreground, though they were fun. Some themes used them to make some very cool effects, but yeah it's true that many used them poorly.
As for transparency (I assume you mean the transparency of the panels) I prefer the new 100% opaque look. But if people feel strongly about having the option, then I don't mind at all.
New site is lookin' great, thanks!!
I'd like to add - thank you for your work on the site Pac, It doesn't go unappreciated! There is a bit of a mob/outrage culture these days, so I can only assume you are getting flooded with hate mail regarding the custom page theme changes. Don't be too hard on yourself about it! (though I still would like the custom themes to go back to the way they were lol)
Also this bug with the IL times sheet still needs to be fixed https://twitter.com/Thermospore/status/1071337224640163840
I like some of the changes, like the updated icons and whatnot. It's nice that old rejected runs get hidden away on the verification page. I like the new edit game page and the new run submission page.
I really dislike that themes were removed though. They were a ton of fun, it feels so bland now. We all put a ton of work into the themes for our profiles and games, and it's a shame that it is all gone. There can just be an option to disable them for people who think they are ugly or w/e. And maybe an additional option for people to disable gifs/motion/animation
And what is even the point of the banner image if you have to scroll up to see it
----- Bug submission -----
The Level Leaderboard
-> View all
page sorts submissions by Time with loads
regardless of game setting, but then displays the Time without loads
of that submission. This can cause the page to show the incorrect WR in some cases. Here is an example:

For anyone else looking for the Discord, here is a link: https://discord.gg/eW2vY43
is there any way this could get ported to bizhawk (neshawk core)?
As of this post, please include a direct link to a photo of your in-game in the "Video Link" field. Legacy runs will be left in place.
Thanx :) -Tyler
OK thanks I will get on that!
EDIT: Unfortunately there isn't a way to remove RTA and have only the IGT without erasing everyone's times... But I added the n3ds and fixed the date.
The background has been tricky to work on, and is still a work in progress. It was pretty much impossible to get them consistently readable, given the wide variety of screen resolutions this will be viewed on, and the leaderboard windows moving around and covering them. So I've settled for it being more of a texture, or aesthetic, if that makes sense. I figure the background image of the srcom leaderboard isn't the most optimal place to be reading the comics in the first place, so I've tried to adapt them to the situation
