Ireland@NinpoManiac theres a seperate thread i started about this. Frame counting is from control of Nick, the -5.00 start pretty much lines up with this
@all this is true, was an accidental time, which j raised with the mods myself, and also left a note on the run to the same effect.
I agree trust goes so far and we are defo "homies" as Beardo said, but accidents can happen and every run needs to be frame counted x
Appreciate the support on this also, it was more just so i know for myself the exact start / stop, and the rules can be updated then to match, as i feel there is going to be a lot more runners soon
I fully endorse zarc0nis as well. He is an awesome SuperDodge Ball mod, and having checked his kun fu runs, his times are spot on
I'll have to check, im not sure if with the -5 start time, if that hits zero on blue screen or actual control of Nick? Appreciate the detailed response too :)
Ps: i know for me my end frame is late 100% of the time as when i end i have to reach for the keyboard, so i have to take a few ml secs off my time in the frame count
Yeah, might be worth counting runs to just to make sure all are starting / stopping correctly once clarified, we had to do that for Kung Fu when i started as mod

Is it when you first see Nick on the screen (have control then), first black screen after the intro? First Blue screen?
Not sure what everyone else has been frame counting from but I just want to clarify for myself please

I'm asking the question, not making the claim. But has a 1:47:xx ever been done for a coin drop NOT in centre place? Had this crazy fast run earlier, recognised the pattern and chanced going left of centre, hey ho, the coin was there, and i got a 1:47:883 (i think)

Looking to start running this, and maybe it just seems more awkward than it is, but im losing you all on the "gun up gun down", im sure its mentioned in the guides, but are you supposed to only get gun ups, and then not collect anything else ao the drops stay consistent? Or do you collect everything. Like bulbs money etc (Really sorry for the dumb questions. But i really like the look of this game)
I like that FBS, you know this game inside out in fairness, so you should have a say.
Hopefully the mods can talk it over and come to a decision
I guess personally i'd define a glitch as doing anything that was not originally intended.
Wall clips/screen wraps for sure.
The quick attack would be more tricky, as i can imagine that may have been used normally in the past, so not sure.
Either way i'd 100% take up this game for a glitchless cat. I think as you said, it could attract more people.
Look at NG Low % and now Batman fist only (low % i guess)

Just wondering why there is no glitchless category for Kid Icarus? Most games that require glitches / screen wraps / wall clips also usually have Glitchless.
Would be interested in running that category, as i love the game but havent got the prowess for wall clips haha
