So i've been learning how to speedrun this for about a week now. But after looking at the rules I saw that the only emulators allowed are VBA and VBA-r. I googled a few things looking for this and I cant find any reliable downloads for either of these. The sites either have a history of distributing virus, or the actual download links are flagged on virustotal. So if anyone has a safe download for either of these, that would be great :)

So I got livesplit but when I open the zip folder, something comes up that says "Windows Protected Your PC." And it gives me the option to open anyway or to cancel opening it. Now im wondering, is it safe? Windows apparently thinks it isnt so now im just a little bit iffy about running it.

How do you quickly go into the fast rolling as done in (timestamp included)

I've gotten pretty good at my SMO runs (hour and a half) and I was wanting to submit one of them but my only issue is im not in a position to buy a capture card. So would it be acceptable if my run is recorded with my phone set up to see the screen? You would be able to see the full screen so there wouldnt be any ways for me to cheat but I just want to know if this would be OK.

So i've just started speedrunning mario odyssey and im enjoying it alot but I have one problem. Timing my runs. I dont have a capture card so the only way I can record the time is my random stopwatch that I found in a drawer. Which I have found its not very accurate. And i'm incredibly OCD so it bothers me that its not exact xD, so, how do I record time accurately on a switch with no capture card?
