Exactly what poke said, SSE is the main category, so whatever main timing method is within that category, it will lead up to every other category, thanks to SRC. Some rules in other categories were "incorrect" prior to this same situation with Boss Battles and will continue to stand with IGT, but due to SRC, all categories must be monitored officially as Real Time as this boards main timing method. IGT will continue to count for All-Star and Boss Battles as they are displayed as their own timing method, it just cannot and will not be allowed by SRC to be the main timing method on those specific categories.
Choose what you think is best, but there are definitely better characters than others, I'd recommend MK (Easy), Up B timing is easy to get used to, Pikachus Thunder isnt very reliable in some cases of RNG.
Different outcomes can happen with different character selection, but another thing to keep in mind about the category that it is a complete RNG farm.
Boss Battles uses RTA as the main timing method. Your place on the leaderboards would be determined by real time. The rules are incorrect.
Actually, remove the part where you would unlock all characters before subspace. How about Subspace > Classic mode for Toon Link > 1-20 Event Matches for Jigglypuff > Fox/Falco Boss Battle for Wolf, i'd like the idea.
Trigger is pretty high about blast zone, you just barely make it with self Up B.
Turns out that Meta Knight is the better option for The Forest entirely (Pit for backup incase SD) Meta Knight is better for all locked fights, (all enemies except Sword Primids are one shot Neutral Air) better for overall gliding across the stage, and can glide over the final fight trigger with ease, it is more precise with Pit's Up B. Here is the MK Final Fight Skip!

NG+ is starting to get a better route so I thought i'd show off the visuals of the current skips & some new skips used in this run! If there are more found I will post more visuals below.

Yes, Project 64 v1.6 is a great usage for emu practice. You can also do runs on it if you want.

Glitch/Skip: Denial Early Towers
Found by: Techstrobe (upwarp and clip) & Looney (Out of Bounds)
Video: twitch.tv/videos/149396963 (original clip inbounds after fox)
Description: An upwarp was discovered just underneath the Towers area while out of bounds, then swimming to the corner of a particular set of stairs will eventually let you clip back inbounds skipping the Fox and many puzzles.

Glitch/Skip: Denial Tilt OoB
Found by: Jaddo
Video:
Description: Utilizing the Tilt Glitch at the very start of the game, it is possible to clip out of bounds earlier than where it is performed currently to save roughly ~20 seconds. This tilt is oddly specific, requiring Enu to slow walk similar to trekking up a hill but still being able to grab onto vertical ledges making it the hardest of the RTA viable tilts while giving the least amount of payoff.

Glitch/Skip: Denial Tower Cutscene Skip
Found by: N/A (someone from allterry's comment section)
Video: twitch.tv/videos/1620735910?t=00h09m10s (RTA setup with inputs)
Description: While falling off a ledge on the same frame that Enu's shout activates, you can respawn into a cutscene skip. This one lets you reach the bridge that eventually gets formed at the end of this cutscene as you are able to freely move as it plays out. Saves roughly ~17 seconds.

Glitch/Skip: Denial Sun Dial Glitch
Found by: N/A (Techstrobe or allterry)
Video: youtube.com/watch?v=t83ABUxFa6w (inputs included)
Description: While lining up the statue's shadow slightly off focus and focusing the camera back onto Enu, you can move during the bridge activation cutscene after waiting some time for the sun dial to roll into place. Saves roughly ~15 seconds.
===============================================================================
Glitch/Skip: Anger Skip
Found by: ThrilIUK
Video:
Description: After reaching the outside area in the beginning of the chapter right after the Bird takes the Sun Dial, at the very beginning of the bridge you specifically want to hit a part of the wall that resets your fall damage to be able to make it to the bottom of the stage earlier than intended. Saves roughly ~17-18 minutes.

Glitch/Skip: Tilt Glitch
Found by: Jaddo
Video:
Description: This glitch came out of nowhere. Jaddo has discovered that jumping into water next to a ledge (can be done with a cannonball or not), spamming to get back on the ledge alters Enu's angle and hitbox. It is possible to stack the glitch ontop of each other, allowing Enu to reach absurd angles left, right, and forward. This glitch allows us to reach out of bounds areas never thought possible. Jaddo's discovery is posted in discord but is not in proper video format, but he found this in the huge outside area in Bargaining. With this glitch, we have discovered a way to skip the water section at the beginning of Bargaining (shown in video) saving ~1 minute 10 seconds optimally. There is much more to explore with this glitch, this is just the beginning.

Glitch/Skip: Half Bargaining Skip
Found by: Jaddo & Techstrobe
Video: twitch.tv/videos/1620735910?t=00h37m43s (cleaner clip)
Description: At long last, we have a huge Bargaining skip. Using a Tilt Glitch created where the original Tilt Glitch was first discovered, we can return back to the sentinel room (by getting past the shades from jumping on rocks after exploding an orb which had been previously discovered) and clip underneath the gate blocking the final puzzle by landing on a large flat rock platform (right and forward angle tilts makes this easier). We are then able to jump against the geometry out of bounds and clip high enough to activate the load zone, completing the first large skip of Bargaining. This was fully pieced together on January 8th, 2020 and saves somewhere in the range of 10-15 minutes.

Glitch/Skip: Bargaining Final Puzzle Climb Skip
Found by: Techstrobe (original post for throwing orb up to entrance door's height) & allterry (for idea)
Video:
Description: The original clip of me getting the orb up to the same height as the entrance to the final puzzle can be shown here, this was done around October 2018: https://gfycat.com/EveryCoarseClownanemonefish On June 17th, 2019 allterry had the idea of doing this, but at the end of the stage, and if it's possible to have two orbs in the final puzzle. I decided to try it and on June 24th, 2019, it was possible to skip the entire climbing section in the final puzzle. Optimally this saves ~1 minute 30 seconds.
===============================================================================
Glitch/Skip: Depression Shades Cutscene Skip
Found by: RETIRE
Video:
Description: By staying close to the left side edge of the stairs barely misses the trigger that causes the cutscene. Saves roughly ~18 seconds.

Glitch/Skip: Depression Chains Climb Skip
Found by: allterry
Video: twitch.tv/videos/1620735910?t=00h58m34s (inputs included)
Description: By performing a specific set of inputs, you can land on seemingly thin air to skip the final climbing section of the game. Saves roughly ~8 seconds.
I see you're a man of charged as well Kappa, yeah I play it quite a bit as well as other games but recently got back into charged. :P
Just submitted them, I felt like someone has already done these categories, just waited to get Moderator to be able to add them. Nice runs! :D
Why combine multiple categories into one when they already exists with multiple runs separately. A "New Game" category for this game wouldn't make much sense because there isn't a set story mode, as well as multiple separate game types to do. (Classic, All-Star, Multi-Man, etc.) To combine them all into one category wouldn't really be effective when you could do all of them separately, at least the ones that exists. Also, 100% category would consider ALL trophies, which would be way too long of a run. Super Smash Bros. for Wii U features 716 trophies in the vanilla game and 743 trophies with DLC.
Just like All Challenges this would be a great category to add to this page, All Lessons! Basically like All Challenges, you complete all Strikers 101 Lessons as fast as possible. I've tried so hard to get a Sub 20 and it is possible, most likely will get it next run. I spent a lot of time figuring out RNG and stuff, same with All Challenges, so this would be a great, easy and competitive category. :)
Seems good Desch, appreciate the tips! :D
