How do you guys do em? I have to switch to a GC style controller and it can sometimes waste time to switch them.

I run Mario64 16 star (hope to learn other categories in the future) I've been casually speedrunning for a while (dabbled in GE and Metroid Fusion a year or 2 back) I've been running M64 for a year now and I hope to get better at it, make some friends, and do some races. I've seen some runners do super fast BLJ's on the 2nd floor stairs. I'm personally unable to gain that type of speed without twitching my finger on the button (which makes my wrist hurt after a while) is that what you need to do to get a faster 2nd floor BLJ? is it a major time save? I don't wanna screw up my wrist XD Thanks!
