true he is a Beast at this Game respect for the dedication and time i mean damn i started speedrunning because of guys like him that keep always pushing never letting themselves down etc i thought speedrunning is magic haha but one day i was like yeah give it as try and it is awesome to see results and the hard practicing paying off thats inspiration right there for real mad respect dude he deserves it!

well @Asgore89 i expierinced it my gameplay compared to ntsc but i'm a Super Mario World speedruner and got it mixed up in smw mario runs at higher speed to compensate for the lower framerate in pal thats why he jumps noticable further and higher ur are actually able to do some jumps that are impossible in ntsc and the physics are way different to my bad but still maybe there is one or two cases where it reduces the max jumps

i think u could do it in less jumps in the PAL version because u jump a little bit higher and further

hm did u check the button maybe a piece of dirt or something blocks it does it not move at all and is it an original controller or a remake ?

hey guys smb1 had a huge influence on me in terms of speedrunning and a sub 5 in any% is a little dreamtime of mine but i only have the pal version of the game is a sub 5 even possible on PAL ?

so i was exremely lucky got it thanks for the explanation i was just kinda shocked because i tried the pixelperfect setup before and got it like once or twice and i was like screw this and just went for it after fast yoshi and it worked and i was like HOW AND WHY haha

@eddiefun10 i heard that the switch emulates the ntsc versions not the Pal version even if it is an european switch but i'm not sure heard it about some other games tho

i did not record it no i was just practicing off stream i grabed the shell did fast yoshi and tried the glitch and it worked maybe i off screened the koopa at the right time i have no idea

So i was messing around and was like hey lets crash the game for fun and i wanted to do so by performing the cloud glitch and it worked i did no setup at all i did not jumped on the penultimate koopa i did not jump on the 2 koopas i just went for it and it worked. I always saw a lot of tutorials on youtube and the wiki and there was always a setup for the cloud glitch i just wanted to ask if that happened before and maybe why it worked?

yeah it would be way too short just do fast yoshi in yoshis island 2 and let him fall into a pit
