MexicoI'm asking if we can split the Ninja Gaiden series into Ninja Gaiden series and Modern Ninja Gaiden series. The Modern Ninja Gaiden series having everything from Ninja Gaiden Black and onwards. For mods of the series I recommend MIST and I as we have been active in Ninja Gaiden II and he has run other games. He's run Ninja Gaiden 3 Razor's Edge and is an active runner of the series.

Miscellaneous categories will be defined as anything that is possible to do on New Game ++ as it is the fastest to play on. And are different enough from the other categories.
For example the current two that I have added are No Nimpo% and All Test of Valors. Naturally the route is changed severely with doing the test of valors. And I found most of them you can rush to the ToV and finish it then come out with no enemies around.
As for No Nimpo you are forced to fight the metal dragon enemies without the help of the black hole or wind blade nimpo. For the quetzalcoatls you can't just simply two shot them with arrows and use black hole nimpo. Thus making some fights longer and requires more effort.

One thing I would like to explain is that Insane Any% has been taken off as no one runs it for any game. There has been a segmented run for Gears of War. But as it stands they are just taking up space when as there could be other categories. Others that will actually be ran and can be added. However should someone decide to run it then it will be added by a moderator.
Anything else to be noted will be mentioned here should any questions arise.
Could shrines be added to the ILs or as miscellaneous categories? The idea is to do all of the shrines in a region. Here are examples of regions and their shrines. And there would be 15 regions, but that is quite a bit of them. Maybe instead of ILs or miscellaneous categories it could be a page extension of Breath of the Wild?

I was thinking what if we could follow runners like we can for games. Then have a tab for followed people on the main page. So you could have latest runs and followed runners.
This would be nice so you can catch up with your favorite runners all in one feed section on the site.
Using YouTube's 0.25 play speed I found that first place by Refresh is not 39 seconds. The time is 38.970 and Hydra has a 39.104. Also Critikal has a 59.21 because that's the time when you see the paper.
Milliseconds should be used so as to truly see which run is faster. Just going by seconds doesn't help when the game is this fast.
The current categories as of this time don't make any sense. There is two Dark Tournament Any% categories when you can use sub categories.

I noticed that not only was my 1,000 captured blocks wrong because I looked at the score instead of blocks. Christinator stopped the timer too early so I did the honor of retiming his run. I also changed my time of my run to the appropriate time. As well as retimed Khroam and Ampsen's times and even recorded the retime to get an accurate time.
Honestly I don't know why Arnold0 didn't even notice this for not only my run or theirs.

Can we add a logo to it or slightly change it? By slightly change I mean say for Perfect Dark. It has the double slash symbol and was wondering if it's okay to add that after "com".
Can this be looked into or added to the site because sure it's nice to see the actual times. However I think we should be able to see console and variable records as well. And a thought I had is that on your profile you have two tabs at the top. One for times for consoles and variables.
So say you are 5th in a game, but you are first for that console. Then that would be displayed in your console tab. Same for variable if you're like the 4th person in a fighting game using X character, but the fastest for that character.
I was thinking since team mode is a thing what if we got categories for them? And we could make a discord for splix.io speedrunners so we can have good team mates.
Some I can think of the top of my head Team 1,000 Score, Team 10th Place, Team 1st Place, and Team 10 Kills.
Could it be looked into for a category where you compete for the fastest time to die? Or maybe even 10 deaths like in Agar.io?
So if you are terrible at one game and excel at another then you get good at it and suck at the one you were good at.
I didn't know where to post this, but I figured this would be a good place. I'm curious I see pages with well made icons like Ocarina of Time for their top ranks. But how do you guys do this exactly?
Do you just get a high quality image of you want and scale it to fit in a 16x16 size? What is the proper way to scale it and the methods to retain the quality from the original size?
I'm just curious on this, do they contact us in someway to tell us or the game never gets added?

This needs to be a feature and I say this because what if a character can't do an IL because it's not their mission? Now we have an empty spot that will never be done.
Sure you can make more variables and just have those for certain ILs. There in lies another issue, the page size. Now it's just littered with so many variables at the bottom just to accommodate for the ILs because some characters can't do them. Which in turn makes looking at the edit game page a disaster.
I bring this up for Ninety Nine Nights because while some characters can do some, others can not. And it ranges from one character only to all of them. If there was a way for the character variable to set which character can do which IL that would be great.
As it stands though I am forced to just use the variable just to show which character is used for the IL. And I would very much like to use the variable as a sub category that way everyone can use the character they want. It wouldn't be about just using one character for the IL due to them being the fastest or more optimal one to use.
I would love for the freedom for a runner to run whatever character they like for the ILs. But at the same time not have empty character spots at the top of the page. I don't know it just bugs me to all hell.
