Hi guys,

Over the recent weeks I know many runners were in discussion on reconsidering altering the rule of requiring a timer in your video of submissions. After getting feedback from the moderating team we have come to a majority vote decision to allow runs to be submitted without a timer displayed on the video. HOWEVER All Games which use Emulator eg: Days/Recoded/COM must require a timer on stream/video for submission.

Secondly I wanted to mention we are bringing back KHSpeedruns twitter account, we will predominantly be using the twitter to announce moderating changes to the leaderboards and other minor things like shouting out runners who achieve great things eg: Major glitch discovery, World Records or speedrun youtube content. I believe this will give a great central place to check up on updates regarding the community and what plans we decide to make moving forward. DM's on the account will be left open but I advise messaging the moderators through Discord for more efficient replys. I hope this is a move people are happy with we are always open to hearing out new ideas and taking votes on potential changes never feel to shy to contact us with your ideas!

Appreciate the kind words Bran, I did do some design things for KH Leadebroards but fun fact the designs were actually done by MieDax. Alexis would you mind messaging Sonic or myself your ideas with examples and we can discuss the idea of a visual change if it seems suitable :)

We already are currently working on IL Leaderboards for Missions Mode but I don't see why me and Draz would be against discussing the idea of adding it, as Timmi said doing a run makes it easier to express your point of consideration :)

Oops was meant to respond to this a few days ago apologies been busy moving houses due to sudden life changes.

It is sad to see Hobz and other mods ive worked with leave a lot of the complaints Hobz had I can relate with, although it may have never been focused or sought out. I did sense some profiling to KH Moderators almost like 'elitist'-like people. Personally I think most of my contribution to the discussions in the Mod Discord is abit to the left, I tend to go against ideas or promote alternative solutions, I will agree with BB sometimes I felt like opinions were almost looked through which made me less motivated to contributing. At the end of the day I do believe I have done alot for these boards, it was I and some others help that we converted from Google Docs to SR.com. People know I have been removed as moderator once for reasons I do not believe were fair and I do try my best to contribute when I can, whether its running the Relay, or trying to visit streams when I have the chance. I just spent 3-4 years straight on KH I never stopped once and never took a break, it fucked with me mentally and it rarely left my mind any day of the week. Now that I have overcome certain mental things behind KH and also been able to step away and enjoy other things I am planning on returning to KH and also trying to be a more contributing factor to it as well. However if people think my lack of moderating is enough that I should be removed then I am happy to sacrifice my spot if its what people really want, I do try to verify runs whenever I see them. However due to the fact we have a decent amount of mods already and I work during the day, by the time I log on there may only be 1 or 2 runs there to verify and sadly I didn't keep well enough up to date with certain recent rule changing due to the move that I chose to ignore verifying some runs.

I have gotten a controller working with my PS2 controller but the controls were retarded, then I have also gotten it working windowed mode but the keyboard nor controller works neither does JoyToKey I also use Windows 10 only person who quotes getting his PC Copy working Windowed with a controller is Hashii

I will try to clarify this all tomorrow if I remember something is definitely not getting mentioned correctly here

The talking is in the works to add IGT in, but maybe its time to reconsider after 2 years to remove Emulator times, which yes includes my WR time essentially this would kill half of the leaderboards but atleast its on more legal and fair grounds since setting up the emu can be a pain to get optimal loads and emu is far faster than any other console, really hate the idea of returning but I see there is a small group of passionate people here and dont want to spoil there fun by having unbalanced leaderboards

Was going to ask for moderator status but I'm amazed to see you so active jumpy, I honestly side with your opinion and would like the idea of subcategories within any percent similar to kingdom hearts final mix hd but I must protest what route differences are there with Max like sure we can't easily abuse the mechanic where Max can stand over ammo plants but what else is there besides the start in who village? Also could we add PS Dreamcast and PS EMU since EMU is slower anyways

Yo so I quickly made this video and did some timing and testing please read the description for how I went about timing, from a rough calculation I believe PC is 4 and a half to 5 minutes faster than PS2 purely in loads, however I feel the PC Version takes longer to skip cutscenes and there are certain things the PC Version does not have such as the analog stick movement for The Grinch & Max, I have heard certain things dont work on PC dont know if this is true, all of this needs further investigating but maybe a discussion on the future of the boards would be nice personally would hate to see my run get beaten which I have put alot of effort into over an unoptimized PC Run, but at the same time I dont mind if we keep both consoles merged would just like to know nowish and establish some ruling on this.
