Runs done on Mac, Linux, iOS, and Android are not permitted at this time.
Once more people get interested in this game, this rule might change.

Seems like with an active moderator, the category can be added fairly quickly.
A bunch of other communities on these boards have decided to remove all runs that don't have video proof. I am inclined to agree with this decision on a bunch of the other games that I follow, and I think all runs that do not have video proof should be removed.

The estimated completion time I was thinking in my head when I added the category was about 30 hours, so that was what I based the rules of the category on.
All of the No Reset categories for this game have had their rules changed.
As of 5/9/2019, the following is now in effect:
100-Level No Reset: Only one mistake is allowed per level. If two or more mistakes are made on any level, you must start a new level immediately. This can only happen a total of five times. If it happens more than five times, you must start a new run.
All Infinite Level categories that allow resets: Instead of losing the run if you make two or more mistakes on one level, instead, upon making the second mistake, you MUST start a new level and the previous level does not count as completed.
The reasoning behind each change:
No Reset category changes: This rule was added to ensure that people are playing the game as intended without being able to just click on every single cell of every single level to complete each level without much effort. Instead, you must now play the game as it was intended by the developers. The additional chances you get on the 100-Level NR category was added because of the length.
Reset category changes: The previous ruling of losing the run if you make two or more mistakes on any level of the run is, in my opinion, asinine and ridiculous. Instead, I think that this compromise between the old ruling of losing the run, and a possible ruling of allowing all levels to be completed regardless of the number of mistakes made on it really allows for the good things from both rulings to apply.

Another note: Another category has been added to this game: 500-Levels No Reset. Now I know what you are thinking, "Who the hell is ever going to run this category?" Well, that is a good question.
I have added it for those of you who are true lovers of Hexcells Infinite and for those of you that want an over the top speedrunning option for this game. Now, I know that this is kind of a meme category, but I have added it nonetheless for those of you that might be interested.
There are some special rules that pertain to this category, most of which have to do with running extremely long categories. I would highly recommend that you read the rules for this category FIRST BEFORE you attempt the category.

Not sure if this is where this belongs or not, but I could not find a better place to put it, and creating a new thread just for this problem that has arisen seems silly to me.
About two to three weeks ago, I made a request to be a moderator for the Hexcells Infinite game. Since then, one of the inactive mods has come back and made comments on several of the forum posts that I made at that time about a month ago.
Since I'm still somewhat new to this site, what exactly happens now at this point?
Furthermore, what should I do if the other S-Mod comes back and removes my current S-Mod status?

Just a note to all, since the other two moderators were in favor of adding No Reset versions of the current Infinite Levels categories, I have gone ahead and done so. 10, 15, 20, and 100 No Reset categories have been added with the same rules as the 5 level no reset category.
In my opinion, if you do a run (such as the 100 Infinite Level run, and you finish it and parts of the lower level amount categories were completed faster than your current PB, I am not opposed and am actually in favor of uploading one video for all of them. So long as the end timing for the last level of that particular lower # of level category is timed correctly, that is.
@Liv To further expand on this: Everything on that page, including pending games and rejected runs are NOT showing up on that page any longer.

I'm a masochist, and would love no reset versions of EVERY Infinite level category <3 Edit: No Reset categories of 5, 10, 15, 20, and 100 levels have been added.
