There's no guarantee your game will be accepted, but if you follow the steps on that page and your game is accepted, you'll be able to set up the page and submit runs.

@jigsaw_master Interesting concept, but people would end up prioritizing either time or points, not both, so it wouldn't hold much value.
I wouldn't mind myself if SRC hosted points, but given we've had a year of debate with little result...

@HowDenKing I'm no coder so I wouldn't know by any means, but the code seemed to call it a "data-variable", so it seems so or similar. It changes by specific variable and not when adding new values. Does sound convenient for those who know what they're doing.
When creating new values for variables in extra variables/subcategories, if a value name is inputted and the mouse is clicked outside the text box, a dialog appears with "26086" and an OK button. Clicking OK creates the variable as usual. Appears on both Firefox and Chrome. Didn't work with other options I tried. That was an interesting find.

Since you've listed five systems, you'll have literally thousands of games to choose from, many of which will be fun to speedrun. I'd say look at some games you already enjoy and see if they have a speedrunning community, but if you want a safe bet, first-party Nintendo games are always popular.
Recording and streaming is best done on a program called OBS, there should be plenty of YouTube tutorials which can help you set up. For LiveSplit, just set up splits at nice stopping spots (level transitions, chapter complete screens, etc.). It's simple enough to hit a button, you don't need to be perfect.
If all else fails, you can simply type in your own category names.
Going to mirror the other comments on RNG. A potential middle ground, depending on how your game is set up, is to make the first instance of a screen a set pattern, and if the character dies, let RNG handle repeats. Alternatively, the game could remove certain RNG elements if the file timer is under a certain amount (as with encounter enemies in Shovel Knight). Another thing that hasn't been mentioned here is support after the game launches. If bugs which don't impact normal gameplay are found, it's considered nice to leave them in for speedrunners, who can use them to get creative (and thus have more fun).

Per-game and user notification settings can be different, the former overriding the latter. Make sure it's set up how you want.
