Agreed. Splicing your run without notifying moderators (or just splicing runs at all) is not a good idea. It makes you very suspicious as a runner, since no one can tell whether you simply paused or took a better take.
You can post an image to this site by posting your image to an image hosting site (e.g. Imgur) and pasting the link here.
That sounds like a strange issue, but worst comes to worst, you can apply a Crop filter on the window via OBS so your output video only displays the part of the timer you want showing.

It's scaled down when displayed, but that doesn't mean the base images have to be so small to begin with.
From Pac, three months ago: "Logos uploaded are resized to a maximum of 720×128. We don't store any original files higher resolution than that.
Before 2017-11-05 however, they were resized to a maximum of 180×32, so any logos uploaded before that are still low quality."
Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't the logo dimensions 720px by 128px now?
Check with the games you intend to run to see if there are any specific rules prohibiting this software, but as long as the video quality is acceptable (good framerate, resolution, and consistent video (steady and few frame drops)), then I doubt anyone will have a problem.
It refers to the version [number] of the game. "Pre 1.9" means any version earlier (smaller numbers) than 1.9, while "1.9+" means version 1.9 or later (larger numbers).
Where did you read that about flash games? If it's of acceptable quality as stated per the game request rules and moderator discretion, it'll be on the site.
Agreed with all the above. Keep in mind that the more tabs you have open in your browser, the more memory used and the slower the game will run. As a moderator for some flash games, there should be no issue using BlueMaxima's Flashpoint if desired, though always check the rules for your specific game.
Make sure to adjust your recording settings to lessen the strain on your computer and close every program non-essential to your speedrun.
Have you tried changing the recording settings in any of these programs? Selecting options like reducing framerate, resolution, and bitrate may smooth out your recordings.
You should consider posting this in the game's forum page, where you will find actual runners of the game. Said runners may be inactive, but this forum is broader: most of us here don't know the game.
Even so, I'd think speedrunning I Spy wouldn't be entirely satisfying. It would be impossible to prevent people from memorizing item locations in advance, so the run would quickly turn into "point at 100 items as fast as you can." Not the most interesting video.
