@goadiroth everything that you said does not relate directly to PvP games, but any other game types that will not be accepted as well. (like short/trivial games, generic puzzles, etc...) The rules are not vague.

I don't know what other scratch games you are referring to. However, the game request rules became more strict over the years, but they are not applied retroactively. It is very likely that most of the scratch games on the site will not be accepted today.

This game was probably added by the Minecraft series moderators, nothing to do with site staff.

@Bob-chicken does that variable have a default value? If so, you describe the same issue as DonDoli, and what I reported a while ago: Leaderboards are filtered by default with the default variable value, but the filter still highlight the "Any" option.

I wondered about Journey too, and asked in their forums. You can play solo Journey in offline mode (on Steam), or without internet connection on PS4. You will never get any companions.

(There are actually leaderboards for assisted mode in the Celeste category extensions)

You issue is not really clear.

Anyway, if you say that you submitted a run with wrong data, you can always edit your run submissions. Go to the hourglass icon at the top of the site --> View all --> under Runs awaiting verification, you can edit any of your pending runs, and change whatever you want.

@burbigo1 He refers to the option in the streams page "Has PB in game", which by default is turned on. When it is on, the streams page will only show runners who already have a verified run in the game they're streaming. Turn the option off to see all the current streamers.

As a general rule of thumb, the site moderation rules for run requirements state that: "It is reasonable to expect that the video must be of a reasonable enough viewing quality and stable framerate to clearly see everything going on in the game". So a strict 60 fps frame rate is not needed in most cases.

However, since all category rules for SuperTux game state that all runs must be recorded in 60 fps, then you need to follow that rule if you want your runs to be verified. You can ask the moderator of this game if there is a reason for this rule.

I think you confused two terms here. The title of this thread is "edit a game submission", while you just described editing a run submission.

Both can be edited in the "pending actions" page. Changing anything in a Game submission will do what @Habreno just described. However, when you edit a run you can change anything in it (submitted time, video link, run description, etc). If you edit an already accepted run, it will go back to verification queue by the game moderators.

Disregard everything I said. Thanks to @DemetriusDima, it turns out you can use the space key for continuous jumps (you can do short, middle and high jumps), while the "up" arrow key will always do a high jump.

Something I didn't quite get yet: you don't verify the ILs because they don't have any rules, or you just don't want to?
