@Ero There are, but it's not trivial to find them: https://www.speedrun.com/knowledgebase/site-rules
I noticed a discrepancy in the dates shown here:
How are the dates on the left side calculated? They should show the submission time accurately.
What about comments notifications? Do I have any way to know if I got comments on any of my runs?
You have to link the "split" action to some hotkey, or else it would never split - that is supposed to happen. The default is Numpad0, but you can change it to something else in the settings.
You can also right click with the mouse on the livesplit window and then choose "split", but it's slower and will probably just distract you during a run.
@Act7 What you are talking about is site theme which is not related at all to what @Laxxius asked.
With the wayback machine, you can compare this Choppy Orc leaderboard:
Before: https://web.archive.org/web/20200901123956mp_/https://www.speedrun.com/choppy_orc
@jackzfiml The "Push competent updates to speedrun.com" game
@gabe03 Any advertisements for races or marathons should be done in this forum: https://www.speedrun.com/tournaments_and_races/forum
Also, you can link your Discord account in your profile settings.
By the way, I recommend you change your username immediately, because it slanders another person and it's against the site rules.
To submit a run, you should upload it to a video hosting site (YouTube is best), and then copy the link to your video when you submit a run.
As for custom music in your video, you will have to check the rules of the game you intend to speedrun, and ask the game moderators if the is need. Some games require the in-game music as part of the verification process.
Never publish to Production on Thursdays folks.
