I did runs of this in 2022 and I got a 2:02 but I hovered. I thought about this a lot and I think it's reasonable for an NMG category to ban hovering (much like in Gerudo Exile leaderboards). However, I'd like to upload my run and as of this post there isn't a Hover category.

Can we have a separate category (really a grouping of categories for 100% if anyone ever runs that) which allows hovering. I believe this makes a lot of sense. The run is quite different and hovering is a testy trick so I think differentiating is a great idea.

However, I could not find the red mail and the map does not have it. Additionally you can, without major glitches find the ether medallion due to reentering the agahnim fight and getting what would be the red pendant (which happens to be ether).

Considering this ether does nothing and it's quite a stretch to get this (also this clearly is not developer intended), it seems odd to add it to 100%, but in my opinion it should still be a part of the 100% rules. I think in general in ALTTP romhacks this should be the general spirit.

To sum up this post, ether can be attained without major glitches, however its clearly not intended and I think it should be in the currently not defined 100% rules.

This romhack was originally made as a part of the 18 hour challenge by JaredBrian. Since then there has been a 1.0 version and a 2.0 version. The 2.0 version of the any% run is quite a bit different than the 1.0 rom. In my opinion, and based on a few specific points, I believe the 2.0 run is better. It should also be considered the final version.

I think there should be a separate category for version 2.0. With this being said, I also believe there should be a 100% run added for version 2.0.

In addition to this I would like for v2.0 to be the 'main' version. Obviously I can't just change that as it is based on people's attitudes and player trends, but it's clearly a more complete rom and product.

At any rate, I don't know how to call for a 100% and any% v2.0 board, but that is my goal of this post.
