Moderation Comment: As stated by PD4FR in discord, and as you all can see, the time they hit the platform vs the end time are not the same. Grappling downward somehow glitched the timer to continue compared to the time they actually landed on the platform. This is very strange to see but will allow it.
So we never thought we'd actually get a runner for the JP version of this game.
With this in mind, we have added new running categories. Why are they split from the US version? the JP version has a maximum of 2 laps for every level while the US version can have 3 laps making certain runs faster. With this in mind, we have split up the categories.
Us mods are still around :) Feel free to submit your runs, we're just not actively running at the moment. Hoping to see more runs in the future!
Thanks for this! So we did find a couple of differences, however, like any emulator, the game crashes. I did submit a couple of findings to Forest of Illusions, hopefully they'll add those soon!
Alright so the leader board does look a little different now. I've gotten a few complaints about how messy it has been before, which I take full responsibility for, but now the new category is "Individual Worlds"
So when submitting a run that's just a specific world of 10 towers, just select "Individual Worlds" and under category of "Worlds" select the world you did!
It's pretty basic. If you guys have any questions, comments, or concerns, please feel free to reply here or DM either myself or one of the mods. Maybe any idea to make this look even nicer than it does now, let me know!
NOTE: Some runs have accidentally got lost along the way, however those were early on and were caught immediately. A couple of runs were lost but the individuals affected have been contacted or will be contacted here shortly. If you believe a run of yours is missing, please resubmit them!
Thank you! I fixed it, however those other runs seem to be lost for good :/ 1 of the runners is a mod as well so they'll be resubmitting, and another run that was lost on accident was from a user from a couple of years ago, i've made an attempt to contact them, but not sure if they're still around.
Hello, so I am a moderator for the game Iggy's Reckin' Balls and lately we've been getting complaints about how messy the leader boards have been which is completely understandable and decided to clean it up. When adding a new category with sub categories, I was able to transfer my run over, like no problem. However, when transferring another user's run, their run just disappears. Like nowhere to be found. Not sure if this is a glitch going on, or even part of that issue where it may take a little bit before runs appear on the leader boards.
I only tested it with a run missing on "individual worlds" "Iggy's Challenge" and only my run made it over, not 2 others.

I also couldn't fit it all into the main forum, but for those who had runs on Easy and Medium prior to this change, we will honor your run onto the leaderboards even though they did not meet the "Hard" criteria. We can't let your hard work go to waste which is why we accepted it. :)
However, new runs will be required to run on Hard. You do not need to get 100% on the runs, just complete it as you're able to.
Also for those who had multiple runs on Easy and Medium, we accepted your best run of the two and rejected the other. Apologies for the inconvenience of seeing your run rejected. :(
Not many will see this, however I feel it is important to let the Speedrunning community know about the recent changes we've made to this game's leaderboard.
We have removed the difficulty on this game and decided to just run on Hard. This decision was made by the moderators because we felt the leaderboards were a bit too cluttered and very difficult to follow. We also felt as the RNG that is associated with the difficulty to be very minimal and pretty much unnoticed that runs did not feel affected by this.
RNG is going to happen regardless due to NPC's that love to get in your way and get items that will harm you, and those items cannot be turned off unfortunately. The difficulty shows no change to the items but does show change to the rubber banding effect the balls have. May change the course of the run but you shouldn't lose a significant amount of time with the rubber banding.

@Oreo321 They got the weird white square around them in dark mode. I've tried removing them from the original image however they still appear. As you can see from the bottom image that i posted that they look like they uploaded correctly, however when i view the ranks in the actual leaderboards, that white square around them still lingers. I'm not entirely sure how to fix the problem at that point.
I mean this is appearing on my end, if it's nota appearing for anyone else, that'll be nice!
So i'm having a little trouble here with uploading theme ranks, is there a certain size or type of file that can only be uploaded to get the image to work? It shows up that they're uploaded correctly, however the actual ranking proves that is not entirely correct. Here are the images. I also hope i'm asking in the correct area, if not, my apologies.

Hey guys, what is up, I am MigratingPig, a Twitch streamer,
I speedrun Iggy's Reckin' Balls, current world record holder for majority of the categories. I thought I'd introduce myself in hopes we can potentially get more runners into this game. It's not a new game but it's a game on life support and hoping it gets revived.
I do speed runs of the game often, though not all the time, if you're interested in learning how to run the game, you can check out the discord and most of us that run or actively enjoy the game are there. (it's a small discord, but we're trying to grow)

I wanna point out that after a few months, one of the mods has returned about an hour ago but only has a somewhat inactive twitch account, it wasn’t a supermod and only two runs have been verified. Am I going to have to wait all over again?
Hello again, sorry to bother you folks like this again, however it’s been 2 weeks since I sent a message to the super mod of iggy’s Reckin Balls and haven’t heard back at all, also have 4 of my runs that’s been pending for over a month and a couple more for longer than 10 days. Should I give it another week?

One last question I forgot to ask,
It seems that the supermod for https://www.speedrun.com/Iggys_Reckin_Balls had his twitch channel inactive the entire duration of the 21 since he never had a "last streamed" date except some clips from 2 years ago indicating he's never streamed for more than 14 days at the time. Now, it remained inactive until Monday, which is really unfortunate since that's been the 3 week mark of my first run published for it. My question is how long should I actually wait for the response? I messaged him Tuesday, and still waiting for a response. I am a bit concerned I may have to wait for sometime before he actually responds, I am an active speed runner for the game as well since I stream the game.

@Seydie I actually didn't realize they had an active twitch account since I saw only a couple of clips from 2 years ago. I went ahead and sent them a message. Their twitter looks to be inactive since there hasn't been activity since early 2018. And their youtube has no messaging so it's difficult to reach them without actually commenting on their actual videos. But I will see what will happen and get back to you in a few days if they don't message back.

2 of the mods have been inactive for a few months and one of them hasn't been online for about 23 days. I do have a run that's been sitting for 21 days so i just barely missed them. I tried getting into contact with the moderators, however none of them have any way of contact. I see two of them have active youtube accounts however no way to message them. One has a discord but that user has been inactive from this site for 6 months.
