I'm struggling to figure out how to rmlaunch, and I can't find any good tutorials for it.

Pretty simple, you have to softlock yourself as fast as possible, as in the only way to free yourself from that softlock is to delete your safe file.

Softlocks that are fixed when reloading the game do not count.
