Yes, it's possible. You'll be needing a capture card to connect your Xbox to your pc and use OBS or any other screen capture software to record your game. Then later edit on Filmora or other free video editing software like VideoPad, VSDC, Hitfilm Express, or any available option you currently have.

Hi there! it seems like the problem is not with the cables you bought. Have you tried using another PC with the same procedure as what you did on the Razer Blade gaming laptop?

If it works on another PC, the problem might be on your Razer Blade HDMI port. You can check this link for a detailed troubleshooting guide. --- https://mysupport.razer.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/1944/~/the-hdmi-port-on-my-razer-blade-is-unidentified-or-not-responding

That's what I used when I had the same problem. :D

You might want to try using Action. It is similar to OBS, but with more features including slow-motion recording/ It also supports mobile recording. It's even compatible with all versions of Windows. OBS is still better, I think though, so when you can, go for it.

Livesplit might be crashing because of high CPU usage. Check the recent application you have before the latest version was installed -- that might be the reason your CPU usage is striking up, resulting in the crashing you're experiencing.

Split.io can read files exported from livesplit with .json extensions. However, it has finite support for reading Livesplit's format. If you are exporting a run from Split.io, take a look at the "Livesplit" option.

I agree with @SioN, mobizen is one of the easiest to use when you're trying to record something on mobile. This app's features are also available at no cost, which makes it better.

Try Super Mario Odyssey and Wrack.

It's not really a requirement to create a YouTube channel just so you can submit runs. You can record and post your runs on other platforms as well such as community forums or as a Facebook post.

If your specs are enough as per the game's requirement, it may be a problem with the game itself or your system. Have you check if the other players of the same game are experiencing the same? I also agree with @Pear that you need to at least share the game title lol.

Just my thinking but having more integrations can be confusing. If you want to connect all your profiles, it'll be neater to just make a page with all the socials you want to share. Then put the link under general website.

Since I don't know the full extent of what happened, I'm just gonna give my two cents. I think it's human nature that anyone who's given the power to do anything in a specific setting can drive them to take advantage of their power. It's why I look up to those who use their power to help others. However, that's a "they" thing. What they do or not do is out of our control. This scenario only stresses you out, so in the end you're the one who gets frustrated and they further reinforces their power on you. The best thing to do is be patient and move on. The more you don't let them affect you, the more power you regain.

Yep, like what @Tegron said, you need to run games that you're interested in. You'll find it's easier to speed run games you're really invested in. As for games reco, you can try Quake.

I think it will depend on the player's preference as to what games they consider to be easy. For me, Donkey Kong Country is a nice game to speed run. It's also fun so it's worth a shot if you want to try speed running it.

Strider is a good game to try. You can finish it in 6 minutes or less. It's got great glitch that lets you walk through walls so you can skip areas.

These are the games that I really want and will never forget:

NBA 2K20 - As a varsity student, I see myself in this game every time I play it. Especially when the pandemic hit, I wasn’t able to go outside and play so I played on my pc instead. It made me miss basketball less.

Minecraft - This game shows me that you are free to do everything you can, it also teaches me to be innovative and creative.

I haven’t really posted any speed running videos as I’m still new to the community. I’m still shy about it, so I’m slowly working my way there. Aside from that, I am also an active basketball player in our place. I also love editing montage videos. Sometimes I also play shooting games like, Call of Duty, Crossfire, and Rules of Survival. I also love listening to songs.

@Daroach How to handle frustration… hmm. For me, I just take a breather. So if it’s something that happened online, I just turn my computer off and go outside to play basketball, or hang out with friends, or help my mom do the chores to feed the dogs and the chickens. Then when my mind is clear, I’ll go back online. It’s just not worth thinking too much about what other people, especially strangers online think about me. When they tell you good things, you know it’s coming from something sincere or nice. When it’s bad with no constructive criticism, you know they just want to be mean.

@ZackKyMurr Don’t blame yourself. Like anything in life, such as learning the piano or driving, speed running also requires effort and patience. Just focus on your goals, slowly, gradually. Find the games you really enjoy and want to invest in. Maybe the game you pick is too hard because you don’t really it. Don't pay attention to what other people, no matter what they tell you. But most importantly, don’t get used to bringing yourself down. Just enjoy what you are doing and playing.

@kodyiskool If you want some heavy games that has good glitch, one of them is GTA 5. This game is also great for speed running since there are definite goals and missions to accomplish. You can also put mods to alter it for more flair. These mods are easily searchable on the net. You need to be careful about downloading mods though cause you may be susceptible to viruses. :)
