That 1FPS comment wouldn't be referring to anyone in particular by any chance?
Max% meme completion: complete as many category extension categories as possible (obviously you wouldn't be able to invalidate any category, eg. By using one of the 37 Water temple keys) Kill a crow/toucan/guay% 39 heart piece RTA
I don't have any examples of any of these, but I'm sure someone will attempt atleast one of them.
As someone who Doesn't always have time to do longer runs, I was hoping to find a game which i could complete within a reasonable timescale. however, as far as I can see, there is no way to filter out games/categories which last over 1 hour, for example. I know it might be a problem to figure out the logistics of how a time for a game should be measured, but I think a feature like this would be useful for people like me, who simply don't have enough time on their hands. (perhaps the time for a category could be the average of each runners first run of the category +20%, with the shortest category for a game being used as the game's expected time)
Ok, I thought the first interruption mattered, as Riidolsk got both in his 100% run. I'll also look into joining the Discord server.
I was experimenting with pause buffering greenhouse skip, and managed to get it without cancelling Luigi being scared the first time. Is there any chance that this could save time if pulled off successfully?
Also, Congrats to Banananana on the WR
Does mansion% specifically require an NG+ file, or would runs that are on incomplete files still count? Admittedly the only practical use of a non-complete file would be not be needing to menu in secret mine, which would only save a couple of seconds at most.
I personally just jury rigged a setup using my phone as a webcam and suspending it from the ceiling. It means that the gameplay sometimes goes out of shot, but it isn't too uncomfortable.
I might do that when I get a chance to do another run, but it would probably be faster to figure out places where the crows can't get to you when you're collecting the coins.
I Had a go at it in a run this morning, and it seemed to work, but then the run died, thanks to the crows in E-3. If only there were a way to kill the crows before they started ruining my runs.
On the topic of Strats, is there any way to manipulate the mouse in A-1 to always get the key near the bottom of the stairs or is it entirely RNG?
