It is supposed to give an error and not allow you to do that, although there currently are some issues with the error not showing up (which leaves the game without mods).

Properly showing them on the bottom and checking if they're obsolete will happen at some point since this is not ideal but that's slightly more tricky to do.

I'll elaborate a bit. The reason this is happening is that user profiles (and run pages, and the front page) don't take into account game specific rules about emulators etc.
For example, in your case the emulator runs are hidden by default for the game, but they are counted for the place in all other places. If you switch the leaderboard filter from Only Platforms to Platforms & Emulators, you will see that the place suddenly matches.
Something that I was hoping could be much more easily fixed in the timing update, but as that is taking longer than hoped the issue still exists.

Regarding the front page discussion, good points are being made, I will hold off on saying what exactly is going to be done with it until that's actually decided though. Just know that we're following what's being said about it even though there's nothing in-depth I will respond now. Keep the feedback coming!
Absolutely something that is useful to implement.
Unfortunately with the way series are implemented are now, it wouldn't be trivial to add it. There are some ideas floating around about how to implement series differently (more flexible). At this point I can't say when that will happen, or if the switching order functionality will or will not be implemented before then.
(Currently games are organised by year, then within a year by when they were added.)
There aren't any requirements, all you should have to do it have your twitch set (as you both have).
The only thing that should affect showing up otherwise is that having [nosrl] in the title will prevent the stream from showing up.
Keep in mind that due to caching it might take a few minutes after you've started streaming before you appear on the streams page. Additionally, (as you might know) twitch likes to be... unreliable sometimes so it could happen that when the site asks twitch for a list of online users, it misses a few users (and thus they won't show up on the streams page).
If you think it couldn't be anything out of the above, let us know again and add your stream title, game etc to the post. In case you do something special with the stream settings on twitch that is not something most people do, add that too. Hopefully we'll be able to figure things out together.
For now I've just fixed it by reverting to the old url.
Better supporting numerical game urls is something we'll figure out, don't try to set it to "102" yet though since it will still just break again.

Due to the large scale timing update taking longer than expected, there have been some smaller updates addressing the more prominent matters.
Both of the bugs you mentioned should now be fixed, thanks.
Update: it is also possible to select the default time to sort by now.
It's been changed (you might want to change your twitch too though, otherwise it doesn't have much effect ;) ).

Yeah that was a thing affecting all game pages, which has since been fixed.
