Fixed.

Yup, this is something I'm planning to add fairly soon. Also working on some other things atm though, so I can't say whether I'll get to it during that or after.

Adding an extra filter for number of players when 'Exact players' is off seems like a very good idea. I'll put that on the todo list.

Sorry for not responding here in a while.
bump - any more thoughts on http://www.speedrun.com/The_Site/thread/g79jt/9#il2ar ?
I agree that it could use some changing and that's an improvement. The reason I'm hesitant of implementing it right now is that place calculations are less than ideal right now (in terms of bugs, potential bugs and it simply being kind of a mess). So it might be better to just rewrite the entire thing but obviously that takes more time, time I haven't had yet (as in, I spent it on other things).
I was thinking that in some games, it'd be good to be able to set which mods have access to what. i.e. verifying runs, accessing "Edit game", accessing "Edit theme", etc. That or at least adding a "Verifier" that can verify runs but not access mod pages.
At least adding a verifier seems like a good idea which is on the to-do list, I'm not sure how much more modularity is useful otherwise. There are more changes that should happen to the moderation system though, so we'll have to explore what exactly needs to happen then it can all be combined in a bigger update.
Hihi, not sure if this is the right place to request stuff but it's my understanding that all streams show up on the stream page regardless of content. If this is the case, could some kind of [nosrl] filter be added? I'd feel silly showing up on srcom playing casual games.
As trollbear mentioned, [nosrl] will already be filtered. That's the only one atm though. I do have some more ideas for improving the streams page but it's kind of a low priority at the moment.
Suggestion: Add an option for a series to not list IL times in the "Latest Runs" section. The GTA series' latest runs are being eaten up by all of the IL submissions for GTA V.
When we get to overhauling series/game pages, this will definitely be one of the new options. Not sure if it's worth implementing it before then, though. Will think about it a bit more.

The 'too large' is related to resolution, not the file size. If you send me the image you're trying to upload I will look into it. As what type are you trying to upload the image? Cover, background, logo etc?

Done.
Also if possible can speedrun.com/user/Guy be redirected my profile after the name change is done?
Sorry, I can't really do that.

Yup, the region code was the problem.

It's been fixed so that the region code will no longer prevent the video from embedding.

Nicovideo links are now embedded on the site.

Multi-part video support is an issue for another day, though.

We'd like to get points based leaderboard functionality implemented but atm it's times only.
I added a favicon that was 10x16, but it ended up stretched http://puu.sh/hRX6z/9996bff1b7.png I had to make the canvas size 16x16 to fix it.
The favicon was stored as 10x16 and on the site itself it will be displayed as 10x16 where possible. Unfortunately browsers (or at least chrome) will always stretch favicons to be square. I don't know why they do, but that's the way it is and we have no control over that.
This should be date of run, not date of submission, correct?
Correct, which is what is currently uses.
Bug: Adding a theme resulting in a wrong file extension error creates a theme with all colors set to FFFFFF.
Fixed.
Bug: When I try to add the rules description to a new category I get an error saying "A category with this name already exists." I also get the same error when trying to modify an existing rules description.
Fixed.
I would like to keep most of the SRL theme overridden, but also be able to see custom favicons and 1st,2nd,3rd,4th icons.

It probably should be grouped as 1: Theme (Don't separate this out any further IMO) 2: Favicons 3: Trophies 4: (Anything else?)
I agree it's a good idea, although I don't think having favicons and trophies as two separate options is really useful, one option seems to be enough.
Minor bug: I've deleted all regions for my game, but all runs still have the region flag beside platform name.
I'll look into that.
1. Add a "Totals" row at the bottom of the level leaderboard page which displays the sum of the fastest times for each level.
A good suggestion but I might not get around to it until some more stuff around levels is updated.
2. If a level has a tied record, order the names by date of submission, oldest to newest.
Changed.
So really, "Variables don't obsolete each other" just makes two different runs from the same person exist in the default view without deleting them, and one STILL ranks higher than the other.
Pretty much. To go with the Code: Veronica example, with "Values obsolete each other" enabled on "Glitch use?", CLBGamer's Glitchless run will become obsolete, as he has a faster run which is only different by that variable (i.e. the Glitched one). With "Values obsolete each other" disabled on "Glitch use?" neither run is obsolete, so both are shown. Which is because the runs only differ by that value and it's set so that's not enough to obsolete the slower run. That's what the "Values obsolete each other" does, and that's what it's meant to do.

Regardless of what you set that option to, if you use the "Glitch use?" dropdown menu and set it to Glitchless, his Glitchless run will show up in first place. Which if I understand correctly is basically what you're after. The problem you have is that for the user profiles, there are no dropdown menus, so the place calculation can't know if you want to know the place it has when all values are visible (which is 11th for the glitchless run) or the place it has when only looking at runs with a specific set of values. So it opts to show the place when all values are visible.

For example for your PC/Hard Mode/Leon A run, you have manually selected Hard mode in the drop down. On your user profile, the place calculation can't magically know that you want to take only hard mode into account. So it uses the place it has with all values 'lumped in'. [small] Although it should really show 24th based on the main leaderboard, I'll look into why it's off there. [/small]
Like, we need the PS1/Leon A/low% (Knife) run to not be in the same ranking tier as a PC/Leon A/Hard Mode run and still have few actual leaderboards, only requiring to change between refined and very specific categories dropdown menus (like on ZSR). Is that possible?
As far as I can see, yes it's possible and it's already what you have set up for the leaderboards.

What's not possible is for the user profile to guess what it is you want to see and calculate the right place for that combination of values. At the moment I'm struggling to think of ways to solve it that would not involve needing all the dropdown menus on every user profile. There might be something we can do with extra options for variables but I will have to think about how that could work exactly. On a sidenote, ZSR doesn't seem to show the place at all on user profiles, which is why you don't notice the problem there.
dislike button
Watch the negativity man.

But no, it's basically a backend only update in preparation of (hopefully) more exciting stuff. So the only time you would notice the update is if I screwed something up. Other than the small change of like notifications with more than 10 'likers' becoming 'X people like your post' instead of '[huge list of names] like your post', that is :)

Not that I want to ruin your experiment, but the like bar worked fine when testing it with 2.7k likes. Memory and CPU usage of the browser was kinda silly though :P The notification will probably get too long to look ok at some point (and if it has more than 2-10k names it'll get truncated too) but an update I was already working will even fix that.

Which part are you having trouble with exactly? If you have your splits uploaded to splits i/o you'll find them on a page such as https://splits.io/41r in which case you will need to enter 41r into the splits i/o ID field when submitting the run. Alternatively you can just copy paste the entire url and the site will extract just the ID for you.

To upload your splits to splits i/o you need to use https://splits.io/upload or LiveSplit can upload them from within the program. I'm no expert on that though so see https://splits.io/faq for more information or someone here can explain it better.

You were accessing the submission form for marathons, not the request game form for the site which is at http://www.speedrun.com/requestgame . I have changed the error message in case anyone else makes the same mistake.
