Thanks, that really helped. I was just wondering, by binding a key do you just mean setting that as your button to shoot, or something else? I have my control scheme with S as jump, Up Arrow as shoot, D as reset and arrow keys as movement, which is currently working okay for me.

I've recently picked up Boshy to play in class, but I'm clueless. I'm playing through on easy mode and no set of controls seems to feel right. I also would like to speed run the game in the future, but I have no idea how. I don't know if anyone is still active on this, but if someone could give me some pointers on how to speed run the game, plus what set of controls I should use and how to use them that would be greatly appreciated.
