You're really over simplifying this. Rejecting a run for being too good is dumb. There's multiple factors at play. I've stated dozens of times that anybody can cheat a run well enough to never be caught across multiple games. So yeah, if someone pops up out of no where posting top times or even WRs, only run on emulator, never stream, etc. I'm going to question it rather than blindly accept it.
A proof check is great, and probably a really fast way to tell if someone is being disingenuous. Hell I'd provide people with the equipment to help prove their run is legit.
Disable post deletion for non mods on the forum.

You don't need an autosplitter to use livesplit. Just use it normally.
Ultimately you don't need splits either, but w/e.
You can use any timer really.
Submitting someone else's run as your own? No
Submitting some else's run for them, listing their name as the runner? Sure, preferably with permission.
RTA is king. Segmented can be neat depending on the game (see Diablo) but RTA will always be more impressive IMO.
In order to delete the thread, everyone would have to delete their post. So after the first response, try not to delete your OP
